A tractor-trailor loaded with Mt. Olive Pickle Co. pickles wrecked Sunday about 3 p.m. on N.C. 55 west of Mount Olive. A state Highway Patrol report on the accident was unavailable today. Witnesses said the driver and a passenger sustained minor injuries and were treated at Wayne Memorial Hospital. A spokesman for the company said an estimated $15,000 worth of pickles bound for Detroit were destroyed. Smith Chapel Fire Department and Wayne County emergency workers responded to the scene.
