Investigations
The following incidents are being investigated by Goldsboro and Wayne County law enforcement:
*A woman told police that she was beaten and stabbed multiple times by a man Thursday. Police are looking for the man on charges of the domestic assault and the assault with a deadly weapon of Lori Wess, of Lowry Drive.
*Francisco Santos Diaz, of Central Heights Road, reported a break-in Thursday. Mr. Diaz told police an unknown person broke into his home and stole more than $800 in property, including a television, VCR, camera and 20 pairs of shoes.
*William Francis Artis, of Price Avenue, reported his bicycle stolen Thursday. Mr. Artis told police his black bike, worth $100, was stolen off his back porch by an unknown person.
*The Seymour Home Community Center on Seymour Drive was allegedly broken into Thursday. No damage other than a broken window was reported.
*A Habitat for Humanity home for damaged Thursday when an unknown person broke three window screens. The house, which is currently under construction, is located on Franklin Street.
*Ken Woolsey, of Mulberry Street, reported that his car was broken into Thursday outside his home. Mr. Woolsey said more than $500 in property was either damaged or stolen, including two windows and his car CD player.
*Triangle Restaurant, on William Street, was allegedly broken into Thursday. Employees said an unknown person used a brick to break a window and gain entry before stealing $100 in cash from the business.
*Wayne Psychiatric Associates, on William Street, reported a break-in Thursday. Employees said an unknown person used a brick to break a window and gain entry before damaging a $200 statue.
