Rosewood High School's Future Farmers of America chapter recently awarded its highest honor, the Honorary FFA Chapter Degree, to Brad Stallard, the business manager at Chevrolet-Cadillac of Goldsboro.
Local FFA chapters annually have the opportunity to recognize community members who go out of their way to support the FFA.
Stallard worked with all the Wayne County high school FFA chapters to coordinate the Chevy Scholarship Program that provides the state FFA with a truck to raffle off. It also requires local dealerships to sponsor the FFA chapters. Proceeds go to the FFA.
Stallard helped the Rosewood chapter sell more than 200 tickets, which helped pay for workshops, conferences, contests, and supplies to use in their agriculture education classes.
