The annual Electronics Recycling Day sponsored by Keep Wayne County Beautiful will be held Saturday, May 13, in the parking lot at Sam's Club.
A story in Sunday's News-Argus incorrectly gave the date as today.
County residents with old computers and other electronic equipment are encouraged to get rid of them by bringing them to the Sam's Club parking lot for disposal, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. that day.
Only electronics will be accepted, no appliances. Among the items that will be accepted for recycling are PCs, printers, keyboards, scanners, mouses, monitors, circuit boards, hard drives, telephones, cell phones, answering machines, pagers, typewriters, cameras, TVs, VCRs and camcorders.
Inkjet and laser cartridges for printers should be removed and also brought in for recycling.
For information, call Keep Wayne County Beautiful at 731-1600 or email [email protected].
Sam's Club is located at 2811 North Park Drive.
