Woman killed in Johnston wreck

PRINCETON -- A woman was killed and three others were injured Sunday night in a two-car, head-on wreck on rain-slickened U.S. 70, just west of Princeton, near Holt's Pond, the Highway Patrol said.
The victim was identified as Judith Sandoval, 31, of Albertson. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Three passengers in the eastbound car -- two adults in the front seat and a child in the back seat -- were injured. They were taken to Johnston County Memorial Hospital in Smithfield.Carlos Gomes Bartolon, 28, and Ervin Bartolon, 22, both of Dudley, were in serious condition.
The baby of the woman who died, Hannia Higuera, 1, of Albertson, was taken to another area hospital.
The driver of the other car, Brian Matthew Statler, 19, of Newport, was not hurt.
