The Wayne County Chapter of the American Red Cross will hold a blood drive on Monday from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Neuse Correctional. Donors will receive a Red Cross wristband and an Adam's Auto coupon for a free car wash.
Fire and police banquet Tuesday
The annual fire and police appreciation banquet will be held Tuesday beginning at 6 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Goldsboro.
The speaker will be Chuck Waller, director of the Wayne County Chapter of the American Red Cross. Musical entertainment will be by Dr. Teague Horton.
The banquet is sponsored by the Goldsboro Jaycees.
