Wroblewski joins News-Argus staff as newspaper's circulation director

Dan Wroblewski has assumed the duties of circulation director at the News-Argus.
Wroblewski has more than 33 years experience in newspaper circulation, having worked at eight newspapers, including the Houma Daily Courier in Houma, La., The Rocky Mountain News in Denver, the Dallas Time-Herald, the Denton Record Post in Denton, Texas, and the News Chief in Winter Haven, Fla.

He has worked his way through the ranks, serving as a district manager, single-copy manager, sales manager and zone manager before becoming circulation manager at several newspapers.
Wroblewski comes to the News-Argus with the operational and sales experience that will strengthen the newspaper's circulation operation, said General Manager Hal Tanner III.
"We are pleased to have someone of Dan's experience and knowledge on the News-Argus team, and are looking forward to introducing him to Wayne County," Tanner said.
Wroblewski and his wife, Mary, have three children and four grandchildren, with a fifth due in February.
He is a native of Houma and attended Nichols State University in Thibodaux, La.
Wroblewski's interests include golf, tennis, football, basketball, fishing and the Internet. He is an ardent supporter of the Louisiana State University sports teams.
