The Wayne County Public Library will run the last two "teen and tween" movies of the summer over the next two weeks. On Tuesday, beginning at 6:30 p.m., the library will show an action packed film starring Dennis Quaid. In this movie, the world is about to be destroyed by abrupt global warming. A climatologist tries to save the planet and his own young son who is trapped in New York where a new ice age is taking over.
The following Tuesday, Aug. 16, the library will show an animated film about a boy who makes friends with an innocent alien giant robot that a paranoid government agent wants to destroy.
All the films at the library are free. Popcorn and drinks are provided. For more information, call Sue Geiger at 735-1824, ext. 4.
