Crop reporting deadline extended

The deadline for crop reporting has been extended to July 31, said Rick Tharrington, county director of the U.S.D.A. Farm Service Agency.
"That's good news for some that didn't get in by the deadline," Tharrington said.
He said the extension was due to late planning and the heavy workload caused by the Tobacco Transition Payment Program this year.
