Two named to Mount Olive Chamber board

MOUNT OLIVE -- Two men have replaced resigning members of the Mount Olive Area Chamber of Commerce board of directors.
Prodigy Activewear owner Scott Rose will fulfill the unexpired one-year term of Kenny Talton. Talton has accepted employment in Goldsboro.
Rose was a major sponsor of the North Carolina Pickle Festival by providing the festival volunteer T-shirts. He also designed the festival's Tour de Pickle and Cuke Patch 5K Run T-shirts.
Southern Furniture and Interiors owner Charles Brown will fulfill the unexpired two-year term of Johnny Bullins. Bullins has moved from the Mount Olive area.
Brown is on the Small Town Main Street program committee and is chairman of the promotions sub committee. He provides leadership for downtown merchant group promotions like the annual Holiday Open House and pickle Pete's Shopping Spree. He is president-elect of the Mount Olive Rotary Club and will begin his term as club president on July 1.
