Goldsboro resident Cleveland C. Wilkin was recently elected to the Executive Council of the National Guard Association, a non-profit corporation made up of members and former members of the North Carolina National Guard.
The association is governed by the executive council, which is elected at the organization's annual convention by delegates representing 155 Army and Air National Guard units across the state.
Cleveland served in the military for 24 years and is a retired member of the N.C. National Guard.
