KENANSVILLE -- Duplin County Services for the Aged is sponsoring a trip to a "mystery" destination and then onto Lancaster County, Pa.
Seniors will depart from the Senior Center on Tuesday, June 7 at 7:45 a.m. and return on Friday, June 10 at about 7:15 p.m.
The first part of the spring venture will begin as a mystery to the participants. However, the "mystery" part of the journey will end as they lodge in Charlottesville, Va. The next day they continue to Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Once they arrive in Lancaster County, the seniors will stay there for the remainder of the trip.
Some points of interest include admission to the Millennium Theater to see the theater production entitled "Ruth", a visit to the Cannery, Kitchen Kettle, and the Farmers Market.
The price of the trip is $373 per person, which includes the motel accommodations, baggage, and handling, transportation, three hot buffet breakfasts, two buffet lunches, admission tickets for the mystery trip, Millennium theater, and the Amish Country tour.
