Seven to participate in Miss Rosewood Pageant

Seven girls will compete in the Miss Rosewood Pageant to be held Friday. It will begin at 7 p.m. in the Rosewood High School gym. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $5. The contestants are:
Nichola Lumpkin, 18, is the daughter of Lindsay and Darlene Lumpkin of Goldsboro. She will be performing a vocal selection. She plans to attend Winston-Salem State University and major in architectural design.
Sabrina Boney, 17, is year-old daughter of Vivian Boney of Goldsboro. She will be performing a vocal selection. She plans to attend Winston-Salem State University and major in business and economics.
Jessica Garner, 17, is the daughter of Annie King of Goldsboro. She will be performing a vocal selection. Upon completion of basic training for the United States Army, she plans to attend Winston-Salem State University.
Victoria Troehler, 19, is the daughter of Jan and Gregory Troehler of Goldsboro. She will be performing a vocal selection. She plans to attend Meredith College and hopes to advance to veterinarian school.
Pax Morse, 17, is the daughter of James and Yasmin Morse of Goldsboro. She will be performing a vocal selection. She plans to attend pursue a degree in the medical field.
Kelli Gurley, 16, is the daughter of Joe and Dana Gurley of Goldsboro. She will be performing a jazz dance. She plans to pursue a degree in elementary education.
April Mitchell, 17, is the daughter of Susan Mintz and Berry Mitchell of Goldsboro. She will be performing a vocal selection. She plans to attend UNC-Wilmington and obtain a degree.
