There's that word again
There it is again, the word "snow," followed by several question marks.
As of this morning, the National Weather Service in Raleigh is still trying to sort out the various computer models that predict the movement of weather systems. Thus, this morning's forecast calls for rain, possibly mixed with snow beginning Wednesday night, also on Thursday and Thursday night.
The culprit is a low now located in south Texas and expected to move north, northeast or east over the next 24 hours. Where it moves, and when, is the problem.
Temperatures for the period are expected to reach highs around 40 with lows around the freezing mark.
People are advised to track the latest weather forecasts for updates or changes.
Meanwhile, the sure information is that it will be wet on those days.
The good news is highs should be near 60 on Saturday and Sunday.
Walston joins staff
Turner Walston, a 2003 graduate of the University of North Carolina, joined the staff of the Goldsboro News-Argus today. Walston will report on local government, business, agriculture, and the military.
Walston grew up in Goldsboro and graduated from Eastern Wayne High School in 1999. He went on to earn a bachelor's degree in Communications from UNC-Chapel Hill
