Republican precinct meetings to be held in February

The Wayne County Republican Party has scheduled several of its annual precinct meetings.
These meetings are now set:
*Precinct No. 23 (Goldsboro Wesleyan), 6:30 p.m., Feb. 1
*Precinct No. 20 (First African Baptist), 7:30 p.m., Feb. 1
*Precinct No. 2 (Eureka United Methodist), 7 p.m., Feb. 3
*Precinct No. 6 (Saulston Fire Station), 6:30 p.m., Feb. 7
*Precinct No. 8 (Oakland Fire Station), 7:30 p.m., Feb. 7
*Precinct No. 9 (Oak Heights Baptist), 6:30 p.m., Feb. 8
*Precinct No. 10 (Goldsboro Friends Church), 7:30 p.m., Feb. 8
*Precinct No. 28 (Indian Springs Fire Department), 6:30 p.m., Feb. 10
All those meetings will be at the party's headquarters, 147 S. Center St., Goldsboro.
Also, there will be an organizational meeting for Precinct No. 4 at the Pikeville Fire Station, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 14. Les Miller is precinct chairman.
Precinct No. 24 Chairman Jerry Grantham will hold an organizational meeting at the Grantham Fire Station, beginning at 7 p.m. Feb. 17.
A schedule for other precincts will be announced later.
All registered Republicans are invited to attend precinct meetings. For more information, people should call party headquarters at 736-0999.
