Wreck injures 2
Two people suffered minor injuries in an accident Friday afternoon in front of Berkeley Mall, Goldsboro police report.
Around 2:45 p.m., a 1990 Honda rear-ended a 1995 Ford that was stopped on Berkeley Blvd. The Honda was traveling at an estimated 30 miles per hour prior to the collision.
Lewis Ray Hines, 50, of LaGrange, the Honda's driver, was transported to Wayne Memorial Hospital for treatment of what were reported to be minor injuries.
Theresa Mitchell Moore, 45, of Central Heights Road, the other driver, complained of some neck pain but did not want to be transported via ambulance, reports said.
Both vehicles had $2,500-$3,000 in damages.
Police charged Hines with failure to reduce speed and driving while license revoked. He was also charged with carrying a concealed weapon.

in break-in
The Wayne County Sheriff's Office has charged two people with breaking and entering.
Around 2:30 p.m. Friday, Stanley Earl Overton was returning to his home in the 100 block of Legion Lake Road when he saw two people leaving his home. Nothing was reported stolen.
Deputies arrested two of Overton's neighbors. Timothy Lee Massey, 34, and Heather Denise Worrell, 34, were each charged with one count of breaking and entering and placed in the Wayne County Jail under $500 bond.
Investigations
Goldsboro police are investigating these reports:
*A green, 4-door Chevrolet Suburban drove off without paying for 40 gallons of fuel at the Pantry store on Wayne Memorial Drive shortly before 6 a.m. Saturday. The fuel was valued at $77.
*A hit-and-run driver did $950 in damages to a 2003 Honda Accord that was parked in a driveway of the 400 block of Murray Street. Nanet Broadhurst heard the accident happened around 6:30 p.m. Friday.
*Someone pried open a door of a home in the 1000 block of N. John Street around 9 p.m. Friday. A neighbor heard an alarm go off and notified the resident, Sonya Morgan. Nothing was reportedly stolen.
*A door at Daryle's pool hall, 1105 S. George St., was broken by someone who did $8,100 in damages. The vandalism occurred between 1-7 a.m. Friday.
The Wayne County Sheriff's Office is investigating these reports:
*Kenneth Smith reported the theft of his 1988 Chevrolet Silverado truck either Friday night or Saturday morning from outside his home on Jill Court, Dudley. The truck is valued at $2,000.
*A 26-foot U-Haul truck with a car trailer disappeared from the Down East Travel Center, U.S. 117 South, either Wednesday or Thursday. The equipment was valued at $10,000.
*A passenger window on a 2005 Nissan Sentra was shot out Saturday morning as it was parked in the 100 block of Mooring Lane. The vehicle belongs to Veronica Nicole Benjamin of Benson.
*John Edward Grable Jr. reported a break-in at his home in the 100 block of Kel-way Drive either Thursday or Friday. Missing property includes a PlayStation II, 10 video games and a leather coat, with a total value of $1,100.
*Wooden Feather Gallery on U.S. 117 North reported two thefts. A concrete Duke blue devil figurine valued at $80 was taken Dec. 19-20. Then, someone cut through a fence early Friday morning to steal a wooden guitar that had been held by an Elvis figurine. It had an estimated value of $200.
