The Wayne Community College Literacy and Basic Skills Program needs volunteers to tutor adults in reading and life skills. Volunteers are asked to give two hours a week.
The program will hold free training to certify volunteers as tutors. Training will be done in four sessions set for 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Jan. 10, 12, 24 and 26 in Room 130 of the Pine Building at Wayne Community College.
Contact Ann Tyner at 735-5151, extension 717, to register for the training or learn more about the program.
