Students from Meadow Lane Elementary School perform during the first of two Wayne County Schools' Choral Showcases at Dillard Middle School on Tuesday night. Other schools featured included Spring Creek Elementary, Spring Creek High, Greenwood Middle, Eastern Wayne elementary, middle, and high schools, Carver Elementary, Mount Olive Middle, Grantham School and Southern Wayne High. The second performance will be at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, with choruses from Carver Heights Elementary, Fremont STARS, Northeast Elementary, Northwest Elementary, Norwayne Middle, C.B. Aycock High, Rosewood Elementary and Rosewood High. Admission is $5 per person. Children under 5 years old are admitted free. Proceeds will be divided among the music programs of participating schools.
