Not much in nature is more beautiful than a pink flamingo, and some people like to stake artificial ones in their yards to pretty the place up. On the other hand, some don't. But, as with Barbara Berkeley of Claiborne Street in Goldsboro, some don't get a choice. The youth group at St. Paul Methodist Church sneaked into her yard and decorated it in the dark of night. It was part of a fund-raising project. Someone donated money to have Mrs. Berkeley "flocked," and she made a contribution to the youth group to have the flamingos moved -- and placed in the yard of another ... er ... beneficiary.
