Police are investigating the Friday afternoon armed robbery at The New Century Bank at North Spence Avenue and Cashwell Drive.
A black male reportedly entered the bank at 1:33 p.m., pulled out a weapon and demanded money. A clerk gave him an undetermined amount of cash and the robber then ran out of the bank.
The robbery was the second in recent months. The bank, open less than a year, was robbed on May 21.
A photo of the robbery from May 21, taken by the bank's camera, was published in the News-Argus, and an anonymous tip from a citizen led to the arrest of 18-year-old Quentin Bryce Barnes of North George Street.
