Wayne County Sheriff Winders said, "Information received by the federal government indicated at least one of the suspects was wanted in Mexico for a number of murders. ... Five persons were taken into custody and transported to Raleigh by federal agents. Comparing fingerprints of the suspects will be used to make a positive ID."
