WAGES to take enrollment applications Sept. 14

Enrollment applications will be taken for WAGES Head Start and Early Head Start on Sept. 14.
Enrollment will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Royall Center, 601 E. Royall Ave. in Goldsboro, and the Carver Center, 612 S. Breazeale Ave. in Mount Olive.
When registering, parents should take the following:
*Child's birth certificate.
*Social Security cards for parents and child.
*Income verification (W-2s and most current check stub).
*Child's immunization records.
*Child's current physical with doctor's signature.
*Child's current Medicaid card or private insurance information.
*Parent's Medicaid card or private insurance information for children birth to 3 years old.
*Verification of child's special needs, if applicable.
*Food stamp verification letter and ID number, if applicable.
WAGES Head Start and Early Head Start are comprehensive child development and school readiness programs.
They also provide services to pregnant mothers, infants, toddlers, preschool children, children with special needs and their families.
