More than 300 instructor-facilitated courses are available on-line through Wayne Community College Continuing Education, with a new six-week session starting Aug. 18.
A wide range of topics are available: computers, from basic computer literacy to programming and networking; professional development; business skills; personal and family enrichment; test preparation for SAT, GRE, LSAT and more; certification preparation; academic areas like math, literature and history; and more.
"Not only can you learn whenever and wherever you want, but with this variety and price, there is nothing to keep you from learning whatever you want," said James Ragan, coordinator of online courses for the continuing education division. "You can be anywhere in the world and take Wayne Community College classes."

Students can register online or contact Regan at 735-5151, ext. 299 at the college to sign up. The registration fee is $55.
Students can register for the next term through Aug. 18, the day classes start. Courses run six weeks and start on the second or third Wednesday of each month. Through the end of this year, the start dates are Sept. 15, Oct. 20, Nov. 10 and Dec. 8.
