Peacock reunion

The 22nd annual reunion of the Peacock Family Association of the South will be held Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Holiday Inn Express in Goldsboro.
Highlights of the reunion will include the unveiling of the Peacock Cookbook and a program on the Peacock DNA testing program.
A bus tour on Saturday will include stops at the Waynesborough House, Contentnea MM House Gravesite, Peacock's Bridge, James Peacock House, Samuel II Gravesite, Peacock Cemetery and Peacock Crossroads.
A memorabilia room will be open during most of the weekend.
While Peacocks from across the country are invited, the association is especially searching for descendants of thel Peacocks from the North Carolina areas where ancestors settled in the 1600s, as well as descendants of Samuel I, II and III, John and Nancy, John, Thomas, William, Robert, Henry, Levi, Alfred, Jesse, David, Asa, Abraham, David, Archibald and Uriah.
