Rosewood volunteer firemen and rescue workers from Wayne EMS Station #2 work to free a Wilson man pinned under his 2004 Tahoe shortly after 9 this morning. Witnesses at the scene say the Tahoe was traveling south on N.C. 581 and tried to make the traffic light at the U.S. 70 intersection. The Tahoe ran up under an 18-wheeler traveling on U.S. 70 at the intersection. The man, who was unidentified at press time, was taken to Wayne Memorial Hospital. The investigating State Trooper is Shane Smith.
