Sally Burgess, 82, hoes while her husband, Fletcher, 88, uses a hand plow in their garden at 131 Grady Road off of U.S. 70 West near Princeton on Monday afternoon. The couple have dozens of vegetables and fruit varieties growing in their garden including snake beans, squash, peas, cucumbers, tomatoes, corn, grapes and blueberries. Fletcher has strategically placed chairs around the large garden so that he can occasionally rest while working. Sally said they have planted a garden every year since moving to Grady Road 10 years ago and this is their best.
