Wayne Community College holds orientation

The Wayne Community College Basic Skills Department will hold orientation for its next session of English as a Second Language courses on Friday.
The orientation will begin promptly at 1 p.m. in Room 127 of the Pine Building on college's main campus in Goldsboro.
The classes are designed for adults who need to learn how to speak, write or read English or improve their English skills. The program offers beginner, intermediate and advanced courses on campus and at sites in the community, both day and evening schedules. Group conversation and citizenship classes are included.
The next courses scheduled for the campus are: Day classes in Room 141 of the Holly Building: beginning level, 8-10:25 a.m., Monday through Thursday and advanced level, 9-11 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Evening classes: beginning level, 6:30-8:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, WLC 218; intermediate level, 6:30-8:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, Hocutt 230, or 9 a.m.- noon, on Saturdays in Pine 128; advanced level, 9 a.m.-noon on Saturdays, Pine 127; citizenship class, 6:30-8:30 p.m., Monday, Wednesday and Friday, Dogwood 206.
All levels of classes will be held at Southern Academy in Mount Olive on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. Contact the Basic Skills Department at 735-5151, extension 700, for more information.
