WCC summer term
Registration for students planning to attend Wayne Community College during the summer term will be held Monday from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Classes start the next day and run through July 27. Prior to registering, new students must complete the enrollment process, including submitting an application, having all transcripts sent to the college and taking placement tests.

An evening of jazz
The Jazz Preservation Society of Wayne County will present "An Evening of Jazz and Fine Dining" featuring the Charles B. Aycock Jazz Ensemble on Friday, May 21, at 6:30 p.m.
The affair will be held at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 901 Harris St., and tickets are $20.
