Rosewood pageat set for Saturday

Seven girls will compete in the Miss Rosewood Pageant to be held Saturday.
The pageant will begin at 6 p.m. in the Rosewood High School gym. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $5.
The contestants are as follows:
*McKenzie Allen is the 17-year-old daughter of Mac and Joy Allen of Goldsboro. She will be performing an interpretive dance. Ms. Allen plans to attend Barton College and major in nursing.
*April Mitchell is the 17-year-old daughter of Susan Mintz and Berry Mitchell of Goldsboro. She will be performing a vocal talent. Ms. Mitchell plans to attend East Carolina University.
*Charity Singleton is the 17-year-old daughter of Mike and Tonja Singleton of Goldsboro. She will be performing a vocal talent. Ms. Singleton plans to attend the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and major in nursing.
*Amanda Thompson is the 18-year-old daughter of Larry and Melanie Thompson of Goldsboro. She will be performing a dance for her talent. Ms. Thompson plans to attend N.C. State University.
*Victoria Troehler is the 18-year-old daughter of Jan and Gregory Troehler of Dudley. She will be performing a vocal talent. Ms. Troehler plans to attend UNC-Wilmington.
*Kandis Weeks is the 17-year-old daughter of Neil and Mary Weeks of Goldsboro. She will be performing a vocal talent. Ms. Weeks plans to attend college and then pursue a career in music.
*Shanda White is the 18-year-old daughter of Vivian and Jonah White of Goldsboro. She will be performing a vocal talent. Ms. White plans to attend Wake Forest University and major in business.
