Goldsboro to flush water system
Goldsboro's General Services department will begin flushing the city's water distribution system today.
The flushing activities will begin at 11 p.m. and end at 6 a.m. daily, except for Friday and Saturday of each week.
Residents may experience some discolored water during the process. If discolored water is present, residents should run their cold water for a short period until it is clear. If this does not resolve the problem, contact General Services at 734-8674.

*West Grantham Street, West Mulberry Street, West Alabama Street, West Holly Street, West Oak Street, Astor Court and Georgia Avenue.
*West Ash Street, Neuse Corrections, Goldsboro Corrections, Cherry Hospital and O'Berry Center areas.
*Pine Valley Road, Collier Street, Jordan Boulevard, Lake Drive, Elizabeth Street, Paul Street and Stuart Street.
*U.S. Highway 117 South Bypass, Washington Park subdivision.
*Vann Street, Arrington Bridge Road.
