Wayne County public schools will hold their annual Academically and Intellectually Gifted Program Expo on Thursday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the administrative offices on Royall Avenue. The public is invited.
The exposition will showcase the various services offered to students who have been identified as academically gifted.
The projects will be examples of differentiation, advanced thinking skills and acceleration, which are used at schools across the district. Each school will be represented.
This year, 1,142 Wayne County students have been identified as academically-intellectually gifted in grades four through 12.
