Eleven school buses were vandalized sometime between Tuesday and Wednesday at Spring Creek High School, according to a Wayne County sheriff's report. Damages were estimated at $6,450.
Windshields, windows and headlights were smashed, the report said.
One school bus was driven into another bus in the parking lot, causing about $1,200 in damages, deputies said. A key had been left in the bus.
A lock also was pried off a concession stand, and the vandals then ransacked the inside and stole an undetermined amount of snacks.
A school staff member also reported that her car had been damaged. Edith Desosa of Dudley estimated damage at $1,000 to the windshield and two windows.
