Wayne Community College Continuing Education will offer two courses on motor vehicle safety and emission inspection three times in the next three months. Cost for the courses is $50 each.
The two-session class "Auto Safety and Inspection" will be held Feb. 10 and 11, March 9 and 10, and April 6 and 7 in Room 109 of the Magnolia Building on the college's main campus in Goldsboro. The course familiarizes the student with the proper procedures for conducting a safety inspection and operating a safety inspection station.
The two-session class "OBD II Inspection" is designed to prepare auto technicians and service personnel as OBD emission inspectors. Course topics include regulations and test inspection procedures required by the NC DMV Enforcement Section for OBD emission inspectors. It will be offered three more times this spring: Feb. 17 and 18, March 16 and 17, and April 13 and 14 in Magnolia 101. Students can register and pay the course fee at the first class or in advance in the Continuing Education Office in the Dogwood Building. Information: 735-5151, ext. 233.
