Master Gardner Banquet

The Wayne County Master Gardener Volunteers held their annual achievement banquet at the Wayne Center.
The mission of the Master Gardener Program is to train volunteers to develop and deliver consumer horticultural programs that meet the needs of county residents.
Wayne County Master Gardeners volunteered over 1,500 hours in 2003.
Those recognized at the banquet included Melba Barden, Benny Beamon, Monica Buchanan, Brenda Carter, Levonne Covington, David Harper, Connie Kammler, Linda McLendon, Louise Moore, Tim Norris, George Perry, Marilyn Perry, John Rawls, Rachel Rawls, Lura Ray, Sally Stevens, Phyllis Sutton, Dan Vinson, Jackie Warrick, Ervin Watts, and Don Wheeler.
