In support of "Wayne County Reads," the Goldsboro News-Argus will sponsor a weekly trivia contest about "To Kill A Mockingbird."
A trivia question will appear in each Sunday's edition for the next eight weeks. Some questions could be answered by anyone reading along, while others may take a little more knowledge about the novel; its author, Harper Lee; its setting; or the movie based on the book.
Readers can submit their guesses on paper at our office, 310 N. Berkeley Blvd., or mail them to Trivia Contest, Goldsboro News-Argus, P.O. Box 10629, Goldsboro, N.C. 27532. Include your name, address and telephone number. We will draw the following Friday from correct entries and award a hardback, 40th-anniversary edition of the novel to the lucky reader.
In future weeks, the question will appear in the Briefly column. Here's this week's:
People blamed Boo Radley for mutilating chickens and household pets, but it was another Maycomb resident who was responsible. Who was it?
